Soil Tech Advance, Inc’s predecessor, was founded in 1995 in response to requirements set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency. The standards aimed to protect the soil surface during and after construction. This required contractors to have a SWPPP prior to construction.
A SWPPP is a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan.
A SWPPP is a fundamental requirement of storm water permits. As runoff flows over land and impervious surfaces, it accumulates debris, chemicals and sediment that could adversely affect water quality if the runoff discharge is untreated. This leads to unsafe water for drinking, fishing, swimming and other activities.
Soil Tech Advance, Inc. is a full-service erosion control company. Our staff can help create and implement your SWPPP to ensure that you are in compliance. We can install, maintain and remove the Best Management Practices needed to be compliant. Such devices might include construction entrances, temporary sediment control fences, rock dams, erosion control logs, various inlet protection devices, temporary seeding, permanent seeding, or sodding.
